The inspiration for this imagined project comes from the edgy jazz and big-band music written by Japanese composer, Yoko Kanno. The Seatbelts performed her compositions exclusively for projects related to the anime series, Cowboy Bebop. This album was designed as a stand-alone release unrelated to the series.
